Danielle Grant has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Danielle started their career as a Membership Development Director at the Girl Scout Council of St. Croix Valley from 1995 to 1999. Danielle then worked as a Training Manager at the Girl Scout Council of Greater Minneapolis from 1999 to 2000.

In 2000, Danielle joined the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board and held various roles within the organization. Danielle worked as a Minneapolis Redesign Site Coordinator from 2000 to 2001, Minneapolis Redesign Manager from 2001 to 2007, and Director of Policy & Communications from 2003 to 2007. Their responsibilities in these roles included coordinating youth policy, managing Family Resource Centers, and overseeing collaborations focused on youth in Minneapolis.

From 2007 to 2016, Danielle worked at Minneapolis Public Schools in a variety of positions. Danielle served as a Program Coordinator for Family & Youth Engagement from 2007 to 2008, Director of Indian Education from 2008 to 2015, and Executive Director of Educational & Cultural Services & Indian Education from 2015 to 2016. Their work focused on ensuring equitable opportunities and successful outcomes for all students, particularly Native American students.

Their most recent position is at Achieve Twin Cities, where they have served as President and CEO since 2016. In this role, they direct Career & College Centers in Minneapolis and Saint Paul high schools, connects students with career exploration opportunities, hosts public engagement events, and supports educational initiatives.

Danielle Grant attended Marquette University from 1991 to 1995, where they received a BA in Political Science and English. From 2006 to 2008, they pursued an MPA in Leadership and Management of Public and Non-profit Organizations at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. In 2018, Danielle participated in the Young American Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. Additionally, they have completed a Masters of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
