David Cha

David Cha has solid work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. David recently worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Achievers. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Developer at ruby. David also worked as a Webdeveloper at CDS Global Markham for a significant period, where they managed multiple web-based promotions. David has experience with various tools and technologies such as Git, LAMP server structures, SOAP and Restful APIs, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Photoshop. Before transitioning into the tech industry, David briefly worked as a Native English Speaker at Nambu Jung Moon Hagwon and as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Ideazon. David started their career as a Coffee Agent at Second Cup, gaining customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

David Cha completed their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates at North Toronto C.I. from 1995 to 2000. David then pursued a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Information Technology at York University from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Learning GraphQL" in September 2022, "Comparing Agile versus Waterfall Project Management" in October 2021, and various project management and software-related certifications completed in October 2021. David also completed certifications in Docker, cloud computing, React.js, and webpack for React applications, among others, between 2020 and 2021.
