Elham Salimi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of technology. They began their career at Payampardaz with an internship focused on intrusion detection systems and backdoor detection methodologies. During this time, they successfully published a paper on backdoor detection in IEEE. Following their internship, they took on the role of Information Security Research Specialist at Payampardaz, where they specialized in network security research and intrusion detection and prevention systems.

After gaining experience at Payampardaz, Elham Salimi joined Brock University as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. They conducted research on statistical image analysis for image evolution using Genetic Programming as part of their thesis. They also served as a teaching assistant, fulfilling roles such as lab demonstrator and marker/grader for various computer science courses.

Elham Salimi then transitioned to Vintage Hotels as an IT Technician, providing support for computers and network-related infrastructure across multiple hotel locations. After their time at Vintage Hotels, they returned to Brock University as a Technical Analyst in the Desktop Services Team, where they were responsible for providing 3-tier support for faculty and staff in the Psychology Department. Their responsibilities included Windows network and server administration, DFS design and configuration, virtual desktop management, desktop services for macOS and Windows, hardware and software support, and Office365 and Exchange administration.

Most recently, Elham Salimi has started working at Achievers as a Database Reliability Engineer.

Elham Salimi completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from IAU from 2008 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at Brock University from 2014 to 2016.
