Dr. Ladonna Young (she, her, hers)

Dr. LaDonna Young serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Equity Initiatives at the University of Virginia's Motivate Lab since August 2021, focusing on collaborative research to tackle educational challenges. In addition, Dr. Young has worked as an Equity Coach for Achieving the Dream since October 2022 and has held various positions at Southwest Tennessee Community College since January 2000, including Associate Professor of Education and Dean of Humanities, Social Sciences and Mathematics. Previously, Dr. Young acted as an Educational Consultant for the University of Virginia from January to August 2021. Dr. Young holds a Doctor of Education in Higher and Adult Education and Leadership from The University of Memphis, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching - Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History/Pre-Law from the same institution and Christian Brothers University, respectively.
