Tiffany Shafer, MSEd, BCBA, LBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Retail Customer Support Representative at Verizon Wireless until 2011. From 2007 to 2015, they served as a Special Education Teacher for Frederick County Public Schools, first as a self-contained pre-kindergarten teacher and later as a resource teacher for students in grades pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade. In 2011, they also took on a role as a Selling Floor Lead at Macy's, which they held until 2016.

In 2015, they transitioned to Montgomery County Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher in the Extensions program, where they worked with elementary-aged students with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who required behavioral supports. In 2016, they joined Verbal Beginnings as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing behavior intervention services. During the same year, they also worked at Kennedy Krieger Institute as a Behavior Resource Specialist, where they served as a case manager for behavioral programming and assisted with the development and implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP).

In 2017, Tiffany became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and began providing assessment, development, and treatment oversight for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or behavioral health needs as a BCBA at Achieving True Self. Tiffany also took on the role of a Training and Professional Development Coordinator within the same organization in 2019, before being promoted to Director of Talent Development and Learning in November 2021.

In addition to their direct service roles, Tiffany has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology since 2018, engaging Master's level students in ABA curriculum and providing feedback and support.

Tiffany Shafer, MSEd, BCBA, LBA has a strong educational background in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2003, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Special Education at Towson University. Tiffany then went on to pursue a Masters of Science degree in Special Education at The Johns Hopkins University from 2007 to 2010.

Continuing their education, Tiffany earned a Post Master's Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Johns Hopkins University between 2015 and 2017. Tiffany is currently enrolled at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Washington DC, where they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, anticipated to be completed by 2023.

In addition to their extensive education, Tiffany holds various certifications. Tiffany obtained their Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in May 2017. In September 2017, they obtained their Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) certification from the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Tiffany also holds a CPR/BLS certification from the Red Cross, obtained in January 2016. Furthermore, they obtained an Advanced Professional Teaching Certificate from the Maryland State Department of Education in July 2015.
