Principal Project Manager at Achmea

Anthony Louws has held various project management roles throughout their career. Anthony started as a Lead Developer at USoft in 1992 and eventually became the Manager of the QA Department. In 1998, they joined Inter Access where they worked as a Project Manager for clients such as Postbank, Ministerie van Justitie, and Strukton. In 2006, they moved to Virtual Affairs as a Senior Project Manager before transitioning to Microbais as a Project Manager. At Microbais, they introduced agile techniques in project delivery and served as the principal advisor to the board. Since 2010, Louws has been working at Achmea as a Principal Project Manager, using agile methodologies and advising the board of directors on ICT project delivery.

Anthony Louws attended the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained a degree in Econometrie (drs.). Prior to that, they completed their VWO degree at the Koningin Wilhelmina Lyceum in Oostburg from 1978 to 1984. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Programmanager (MSP), Certified Senior Project Manager IPMA (Level B) from the International Project Management Association (IPMA-NL), and Leading SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc.
