Joost van Poppel is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations and business intelligence. As the General Operations Director of District East Games since December 2018, Joost showcases creativity in the development of escape room games. In a long-standing role at Achmea since 2005, Joost has progressed through various positions including Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, Business Intelligence Consultant, Release Manager, Test Manager, and Functional Administrator, consistently facilitating teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions within the realm of Business Intelligence. Prior experience at CZ and Simac QuadCore B.V. involved functional management of automated systems and software development, respectively. Joost holds advanced degrees in Business Process Management & IT and Management Sciences from the Open University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
