Philip Swords

Philip Swords is a finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting and financial management roles. Currently serving as Finance Director and Financial Controller at Acin since December 2021, Philip has played a key role in a Series B funding round, raising $24 million. Prior to Acin, Philip was the Financial Controller and Accounting Manager at BrightTALK, where responsibilities included leading the UK finance team, managing month-end close processes, conducting due diligence for acquisitions, and implementing new systems. Earlier experience includes roles at Return Path, Cummins Inc., and Whistler Blackcomb, where Philip progressed from Accountant 1 to various senior accounting positions. Philip holds a Chartered Certified Accountant qualification from ACCA and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin.
