Robert Dawson

Assistant Physicist at Ackerman Cancer Center

Robert Dawson currently holds the NIH F31 Predoctoral Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute since July 2024 and serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida, where involvement includes leadership as President of the Society of Health and Medical Physics Students. Additionally, Robert is an AAPM/RSNA Graduate Fellow with the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and works as an Assistant Physicist at Ackerman Cancer Center since May 2019. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Physics (2022-2025) and a Master of Science in Medical Physics (2020-2022) from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mathematics from Cornell University (2013-2019), complemented by high school education through the International Baccalaureate and Stanton College Preparatory School.
