Ilona M. has worked in the digital marketing industry since 2013. Ilona began their career at JSO Digital as a Digital Strategist, managing key client accounts with an annual spend of $2MM and developing multi-channel marketing strategies to meet clients' business goals. In 2015, they joined acKnowledge, where they have held various positions, including Associate Director of Strategy & Insights, Associate Director of SEO, Group SEO Manager, SEO Manager, Senior SEO Strategist, and SEO Strategist. In their current role, they help brands across different industries leverage data analytics and business intelligence to build strategic plans to maximize the impact of their marketing efforts. Ilona has also developed SEO and digital marketing strategies for industry-leading eCommerce, publisher, and media brands, and implemented and monitored campaigns.

Ilona M. began their educational journey in 2007 when they earned a Certificate in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Language and Culture University. Ilona then attended Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Law. From 2012 to 2014, they attended CUNY New York City College of Technology and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Marketing Management and Sales. From 2014 to 2016, Ilona M. attended Baruch College and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing & Marketing Management. In 2019, they attended IESE Business School and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Ilona is currently attending NYU Stern School of Business, where they are expected to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2020.
