Jillene Kogan

Medical Director Of Cytogenetics at ACL Laboratories, Inc.

Jillene Kogan has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jillene started their career as a Resident in Pediatrics and Genetics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from 2001 to 2007. During this time, they also served as a Fellow in Cytogenetics. In 2008, they joined ACL Laboratories and Lutheran General Hospital as a Clinical Cytogeneticist and Clinical Geneticist. Jillene also worked as the Medical Director of Cytogenetics at ACL Laboratories. Later on, in 2009, they became a Clinical Geneticist at Advocate Health Care. In 2011, Jillene joined the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Clinical Assistant Professor, where they stayed until 2020. Currently, they are working as a Lecturer of Pathology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Jillene Kogan completed their undergraduate education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1989 to 1993, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Jillene then pursued higher education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine from 1993 to 2001, where they attained both an MD (Doctor of Medicine) and a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Molecular Genetics.
