Network Design Analyst (gis) at Aclara

Cara Gregg is a Network Design Analyst (GIS) at Aclara since July 2022, after serving as a Meteorologist at the National Weather Service from September 2019 to July 2022. In the role at the National Weather Service, Cara was responsible for creating detailed forecasts, consulting with partners and the public, providing decision support for various events, and contributing to storm and GIS data organization. Additionally, Cara was involved with both the Science and Hydrology Teams, updating severe weather climatology and conducting fieldwork for flood risk assessment. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Student at the University of Oklahoma's Center for Analysis and Prediction of Storms, where Cara developed a program to verify cloud-to-ground lightning forecasts and presented research at a national conference. Cara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences from The Ohio State University.
