David Ulm

David Ulm is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems integration, test engineering, and product development. Currently serving as Principal Systems Integration Test Engineer at Aclara since June 2023, David provides technical leadership in verifying compatibility for RF-based Smart Meter products. Prior to Aclara, David worked at Vitamix Corporation for over a decade, where as Test Manager, David architected the test engineering function, ensuring the launch of products generating over $400 million annually. David's earlier roles include Project Engineer, Test, and Product Support Engineer at Vitamix, and Process/Electrical Engineer at Stanley Assembly Technologies, where David designed automated testing systems for major product lines. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Toledo.
