Julian Roteta

Julian Roteta has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Julian started their career in 1992 as a Product Engineer for Protection and Automation Equipment at GE Digital Energy. Julian then moved on to become a System Product Engineer, where they were involved in the engineering and design of complex electrical system projects.

In 1997, Julian became the Regional Sales Manager for South Europe at GE Digital Energy, and later, in 2000, they were promoted to the role of Sales Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. In this role, they were responsible for meeting sales targets, leading a sales team, and expanding the product portfolio.

Julian joined General Electric in 2010 as the Sales Director for Smart Grids in South Europe and North Africa, where they focused on driving growth in the Smart Grid business by identifying new market opportunities and increasing market penetration. Julian then moved on to become the Operations Manager for Grid Automation Europe in 2012, leading a team of 200 employees and ensuring efficient and profitable operations.

In 2013, Julian became the Global Product Manager for IEC Meters at General Electric, where they managed the entire lifecycle of the product line, conducted market research, and specified market requirements. Finally, in 2015, they joined Aclara as the Vice President of Product Management for IEC Meters, where they were responsible for overall product strategy, profitability, and business management.

Julian's work experience showcases their expertise in product management, sales, and operations within the energy and electrical equipment industry.

Julian Roteta obtained their MS Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Escuela Superior Ingenieros Industriales de San Sebastian between 1986 and 1992. Their field of study focused on Electrical Engineering.
