Michael Skowron

Director Of Product Management at Aclara

Michael Skowron has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Michael began their career at Heidelberg USA in 1987 as a Design Engineer/Product Engineer, responsible for the development and implementation of high-speed printing equipment through innovative conceptual design. In 1991, they joined Cybermation, Inc as a Project Engineer, where they conducted research and development for industrial plasma cutting systems.

In 1993, Skowron became the Chief Mechanical Engineer at Analogic Corporation, where they worked until 1998. During this time, they focused on mechanical engineering and innovative designs. From 1998 to 2000, they served as the Principal Engineering Manager at Inspex Inc., overseeing engineering projects.

Skowron then joined Speedline Technologies as a Principal Mechanical Engineer from 2000 to 2001. Michael continued their engineering career at Heidelberg Web Systems/GOSS International as a Commercial Manager from 2001 to 2009.

From 2009 to the present, Skowron worked at EFI as the Vice President of Engineering, leading engineering projects and driving innovation. Finally, in their current role at Aclara as the Director of Product Management, Skowron is responsible for developing product strategies, leading new product introductions, and managing a cohesive portfolio roadmap.

Michael Skowron earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Management at Tufts University from 1995 to 1997.
