Oscar López

Oscar López is a seasoned Systems Architect and Firmware Manager at Aclara, specializing in the management of firmware for IEC meters since December 2015. Prior to this role, Oscar held various positions at GE Digital Energy from February 1999 to December 2015, including Firmware Manager and Lead Firmware Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing firmware development for IEC meters and contributing as a core developer for significant projects such as the Smart Energy Meter SGM1300 and the P30 Phasor Data Concentrator. Oscar's foundational education includes a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, completed in 2001.
