Maia Raposo

Maia Raposo is an experienced communications leader with a strong background in advocacy, marketing, and event management. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the ACLU of New Jersey since June 2021, Maia develops and executes comprehensive communication strategies focused on racial justice and collaborative leadership. Prior to this role, Maia held various positions at Waterkeeper Alliance, including Communications & Marketing Director, where oversight of marketing strategies across 40 countries significantly enhanced online engagement. Maia's earlier experience includes marketing and events management at Brooklyn Brewery and public relations in the food industry. Maia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Environmental Policy from The New School.
