Scott McDowell is a seasoned communications professional, currently serving as the Deputy Communications Director at the ACLU of New Jersey since August 2022. Prior to this role, McDowell held the position of Director of Communications at Minnesota Freedom Fund Inc. in 2021 and was a Senior Campaign Manager at The Wakeman Agency from late 2018 to mid-2021. A substantial portion of McDowell's career was spent at Syracuse University, where roles included Executive Director of Regional Strategic Communications and Director of Communications, overseeing national public relations campaigns and media relations initiatives.
