Liz Musselman

Chief Development Officer at ACLU of North Carolina

Liz Musselman has a strong background in development and philanthropy, with a focus on civil liberties. Liz is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at the ACLU of North Carolina since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Director of Philanthropy at the same organization from July 2018 to August 2022.

Before joining the ACLU of North Carolina, Liz held the position of Director of Philanthropy at the ACLU of Virginia from October 2015 to June 2018. Liz also gained experience as the Director of Development at the ACLU of Tennessee from July 2013 to September 2015.

Liz Musselman's education history includes attending Virginia Commonwealth University from 1994 to 1999. During this period, they obtained a degree in English, focusing on English Language and Literature, General. Prior to their time at Virginia Commonwealth University, Liz attended East Carolina University from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a field of study in opera, although they did not complete a degree at this institution.
