Amy Gilbert

Amy Gilbert is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in civil rights and child and family law. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney at the ACLU of Ohio since May 2021, Gilbert previously held similar positions at the ACLU of Northern California and worked as a Contract Attorney and Associate Attorney at Hawkins Parnell & Young, LLP. Early career roles include serving as a Law Clerk in the Cook County Chancery Division, a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and a Loyola Public Interest Law Fellow with LAF. Gilbert's educational background includes a JD in Child and Family Law from Loyola University Chicago and a BA from the University of Michigan.
