Michele Villarreal-Chandy

Michele Villarreal-Chandy is an accomplished fundraising and development professional with extensive experience in various nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Major Gifts Officer at ACLU of Texas since May 2019, Michele previously held key positions including Development Director at nonPareil Institute, where significant fundraising milestones were achieved, such as the formation of corporate partnerships and the initiation of a monthly giving campaign. Additionally, Michele contributed to the International Rescue Committee in various roles, managing donor relations and securing substantial funding while engaging young professionals through advocacy and fundraising events. With a solid educational background, including a Master's degree in International Political Economy from The University of Texas at Dallas, Michele is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in organizational settings.
