Legal Team

About

The Legal Team at the ACLU of Pennsylvania is responsible for initiating and managing litigation to defend constitutional rights and civil liberties across the state. This team of attorneys and legal fellows conducts legal research, prepares briefs, files lawsuits, and represents clients in court to address issues such as freedom of speech, religious liberty, reproductive rights, and due process. Additionally, they collaborate with other ACLU teams for policy advocacy and community education, aiming to uphold and expand individual rights under both state and federal law.
