Jonathan Contreras is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at ACLU SoCal since September 2022. With a JD from Stanford Law School (2019-2022) and a BA in English from Pomona College (2014-2018), Jonathan has substantial experience in legal research and advocacy. Notable roles include Research Assistant and Project Coordinator at Stanford Law School, where Jonathan worked on the Immigration Policy Tracking Project, analyzing immigration policies from the Trump and Biden administrations. Previous experience includes internships at ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project and California Department of Justice, as well as leadership roles in LGBTQ+ mentoring and educational programs at Claremont Colleges and Creative Arts Workshop.
