Edith Sangueza

Edith Sangueza is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Temporary Staff Attorney at the ACLU since April 2023. Previously, Sangueza worked as a Staff Attorney at Make the Road New York from May 2022 to April 2023 and as a Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court, Southern District of New York from April 2021 to April 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Equal Justice Works Fellow/Staff Attorney at The Door - A Center of Alternatives from September 2018 to April 2021, and as a Student Attorney at Harvard Legal Aid Bureau from August 2016 to July 2018. Sangueza's earlier roles include teaching at KIPP Bay Area Schools and participating as a Princeton in Latin America Fellow with Redes de Tutoría, as well as being a Corps Member with Teach For America. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, a Master of Science in Latin American Studies from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration from Yale University.
