Scarlet Kim is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in civil liberties and human rights. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU since April 2019, Scarlet has contributed to both the Speech, Privacy & Technology Project and the National Security Project. Prior roles include Legal Officer at Privacy International and Associate Legal Adviser at the International Criminal Court. Scarlet's judicial experience includes serving as a Law Clerk for the Hon. John Gleeson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Additionally, Scarlet was a Gruber Fellow in Global Justice at the New York Civil Liberties Union and a Research Associate at the Council on Foreign Relations. Scarlet holds a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Studies from Yale University.
