Joseph Martin has extensive experience in the field of mental health, currently serving as a Peer Program Specialist at ACMH, INC. since July 2018. Previously, Joseph held the position of Central Region Community Support Program Technical Assistance Coordinator at the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers Association from March 2016 to August 2018, providing vital support for community meetings and local programs. From January 2010 to July 2018, Joseph chaired the Cumberland/Perry Community Support Program, focusing on creating a recovery-oriented mental health system while addressing community stigma. Joseph also worked as a Certified Peer Support Specialist at WellSpan Philhaven and Paxton Ministries during overlapping periods, promoting peer support and wellness goals. Additionally, Joseph was involved as the Chief Consultant to Curriculum Development and Master Facilitator at the Innovative Training Institute of America from October 2011 to September 2013. Joseph's educational background includes advanced training in Mental Health Recovery from the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery and studies in relevant fields at Penn State University.
