Kenyetta Whitfield

Kenyetta Whitfield is currently serving as the Digital Communications Manager for the Abortion Care Network since May 2022, where responsibilities include managing social media presence, creating content, and supporting member communications. Prior to this role, Kenyetta worked with URGE: Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity from March 2019 to May 2022, first as Communications Manager and previously as Communications Coordinator, focusing on content creation and digital outreach. Kenyetta also held the position of Editor in Chief at Southeast Ohio Magazine, and completed internships with Chesapeake Climate Action Network and Takoma Voice, where foundational communications skills were developed. Kenyetta holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications at American University.
