Ashley MacWhirter

Ashley graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a BA in art history and philosophy after moving from Alberta, Canada to attend the university on a soccer scholarship. Post-graduation, she worked as a piping/mechanical designer for an engineering firm where she developed a great passion for technology and software development.

Pursuing her software development passion, Ashley graduated from Georgia Tech with a certificate in Full Stack Development in 2017 and began her career as a full stack software developer at AT&T. Shifting to a start-up focus, her development experience has ranged from telecommunications, to government sectors and healthcare/pharmaceutical solutions where she became fascinated with blockchain and dApp development.

Ashley enjoys hikes with her dogs and dabbling with her Raspberry Pi.
