David Sandler

David Sandler is a Director of Treasury and Operations at ACON Investments. Prior to joining ACON in 2022, Mr. Sandler was the Chief Compliance Officer and Controller at Poetic Group LLC, an investment manager of private equity funds employing structured finance strategies. Previously, he was an Assistant Vice President at State Street within the fund accounting administration team servicing real estate focused private equity clients. Prior to this, Mr. Sandler was a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group and Mount Kellett Capital Management, where he managed a team primarily responsible for operations, treasury and management reporting that supported a global multi-strategy investment management business. Mr. Sandler began his career at the Royal Bank of Scotland where he was an Assistant Product Controller supporting the fixed income and derivatives businesses.

Mr. Sandler received a Bachelor of Finance degree from St. John’s University in New York. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
