Jim Gaerlan

Jim Gaerlan is a highly experienced Senior Facade Engineer with a career spanning over two decades in façade design and engineering. Currently at ACOR Consultants Pty Ltd since April 2019, Jim previously held senior roles at Inhabit and Bonacci Group Pty Ltd. Prior to these positions, Jim worked as a Facade Engineer at Aurecon New Zealand, where expertise in engineering design and construction was developed. Early career highlights include serving as a Senior Facade Designer at Jangho Curtain Wall Australia Pty Ltd and as a Facade Designer at Permasteelisa, working on notable projects such as the RMIT Design Hub. Jim's professional journey began as a Technical Designer at Aluminium System Ltd. A graduate of Don Bosco Technical College, Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
