Andrew Mayer

Andrew Mayer is the current Deputy General Counsel at Acorda Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were with Life Technologies (formerly Applied Biosystems, Inc) from November 2008 to March 2009 as a corporate attorney. Before that, they were with Applied Biosystems Inc. from February 2000 to November 2008 as the Assistant Secretary and corporate attorney. Prior to that, they were with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP from September 1990 to February 2000 as Of Counsel/Associate.

Andrew Mayer has a JD from Georgetown University Law Center, a BS from Duke University in Computer Science, Political Science, and Economics, and they attended Scarsdale High School.

They are on a team with Burkhard Blank - Chief Medical Officer, Lauren Sabella - Chief Commercial Officer, and Peter S. Carbone - Senior Vice President, Quality. Andrew Mayer reports to Ron Cohen, President & CEO.
