Joel Smith has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, with a strong focus on counter fraud initiatives. Currently serving as Counter Fraud Initiative Controller at ACORN INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED since August 2018, Joel previously held the position of Counter Fraud Team Leader at Markerstudy Insurance from 2016 to July 2018. Prior to this, Joel worked as Counter Fraud Team Leader at Chaucer Syndicates from 2009 to 2015, and earlier served as Technical Claims Consultant at the same company from 2000 to 2008.
