Marc Desmith

Marc DeSmith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marc'smost recent role is as a Senior Director of Project Management at Acosta since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Project Management at the same company. Before joining Acosta, Marc worked at Mosaic North America, where they served as a Director of Central Operations, leading teams and providing business intelligence and data analysis support for Samsung and Microsoft. Previously, they held the position of Senior Operations Manager at Mosaic North America, overseeing Microsoft sales and merchandising. Marc also has experience working at Blockbuster, where they held various roles such as Manager of Marketing Planning & Integration, Operations Business Analyst, and Store Manager. Marc'searliest work experience was in the US Navy, where they served as an Aviation Electronics Technician (3rd Class), managing subordinates and working on navigation and communications systems.

Marc DeSmith attended Mesa Community College from 1989 to 1994, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study. In terms of additional certifications, Marc obtained the Alteryx Designer Core Certified certification from Alteryx in April 2020. In the future, they plan to obtain certifications in Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Project Management Skills for Leaders, and Telling Stories with Data from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
