Mikael Evander is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biomedical engineering and acoustofluidics. Currently serving as Technology Manager and Product Manager for the AcouTrap instrument at AcouSort AB since September 2016, Mikael has also held the position of Docent in Biomedical Engineering at Lund University from June 2015 to October 2019. Prior research experience includes a role as a researcher in the group of Professor Thomas Laurell at Lund University, focusing on acoustic cell handling methods for life sciences, and a postdoctoral position at Stanford University developing a microfluidic single cell impedance cytometer. Mikael's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Measurements and an MSc in Engineering Physics, both obtained from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
