Luis Z. Avila

Luis Z. Avila has over 25 years of work experience in the biotechnology industry. Luis Z. began their career in 1993 as a Senior Scientist at Focal Inc. In 2001, they moved to Genzyme as a Scientific Fellow. Luis Z. then worked at Sanofi Genzyme from 2011 to 2017 as a Distinguished Scientific Fellow. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Aveta Biomics as Vice President of Drug Discovery & Development. Currently, they are working as Chief Scientific Officer at AcousticaBio and as an Advisor at Aveta Biomics, Inc.
