Jones Kim

Jones Kim has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning across various companies and industries.

They started their career as an Accounting Manager at Coby Electronics Corporation in 1994, where they oversaw accounting and finance activities and played a key role in the company's growth. During their time at Coby Electronics, they also served as the Director of Global Planning/Financial Controller, where they developed and directed finance, accounting, controlling, and planning on a global scale.

In 2007, Jones Kim joined RacingLine, Inc. as the CFO and Executive Consultant, supporting early-stage organizations and eventually settling into a strategic role as CFO of RacingLine. They collaborated with executives to construct business plans, fashion financial roadmaps, and navigate changing retail landscapes and trends.

They then moved on to David & Young Group Corporation in 2016, where they served as the Senior Financial Controller and Human Resources Manager. In this role, they provided financial leadership and oversaw accounting functions, while also heading the Human Resources department and focusing on employee policies and hiring.

In 2017, Jones Kim became the VP of Finance and Operations at Galanz Americas Ltd. Co., where they planned and launched the US subsidiary of the global manufacturer of home appliances. They created the initial accounting, finance, and operations infrastructure in alignment with the company's strategic plan.

From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Startup CFO and Executive Consultant at Engeti Marketing Inc., building the financial and accounting infrastructure for the eCommerce startup and collaborating with senior executives to shape the business plan and operating model.

In 2019, they joined Professional Healthcare Resources Group, Inc. as the Interim CFO and Executive Consultant, providing financial leadership and implementing internal controls and transparency in corporate finance.

Following their role at Professional Healthcare Resources Group, they took on the role of CFO at MADE BY GATHER, an innovative consumer products organization. They designed a finance and accounting infrastructure and adapted to the shift in focus and priorities caused by the global pandemic.

Most recently, in 2022, they founded their own consulting firm, Jones Kim Consulting. As an Executive Consultant and Interim CFO, they partner with startup and high-growth companies, consulting with leaders in various industries to develop customized solutions for efficiency, profitability, and long-range success.

In 2023, Jones Kim became the Chief Financial Officer at Acquco, where they currently hold the role.

Jones Kim has a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Pace University - Lubin School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University at Buffalo, where they majored in three fields: Accounting, Finance, and Management Information Systems (MIS). Additionally, Jones Kim holds the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of New York, having successfully passed all exam sections.
