Flaviu Porutiu

Flaviu Porutiu is an experienced software engineer and founder with a strong background in web development, system administration, and IT mentorship. Currently working at Acquia since October 2018, Flaviu also established Glitch Media, where the main presentation website was designed and created. Previous roles include IT Mentor at UBB IT Hub, where Flaviu implemented a campus proxy and web server, and web developer and IT consultant at Squirrly, focusing on the "ContentLook" SEO audit tool. Flaviu's earlier experience includes web development and server administration at Universitatea „Babeș-Bolyai” din Cluj-Napoca, as well as positions at Life Is Hard and Clubul sportiv RCM. Flaviu holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Babes-Bolyai University and has been engaged in various technology-related projects since 2010.
