Mike Lippitz is the current Principal at Acrelic Group. Mike has also worked as Clareo, the Institute for Defense Analyses, US Department of Defense, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Rockwell Collins (Rockwell International Science Center).
Lippitz began their career as a Product Marketing Engineer at Hewlett Packard Stanford Park Division from June 1984 to May 1986. Mike then moved on to become a Senior Technical Associate at Rockwell Collins from June 1988 to June 1989. In July 1988, they started working as a Research Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and continued in this role until June 1994.
From September 1994 to January 2001, Lippitz worked as the Special Assistant for Strategic Tech Planning, OASD(Economic Security) and DDR&E at the US Department of Defense. In this role, they were the lead writer on DoD strategy to merge military with commercial development and production to achieve affordable access to leading edge technologies. Mike also led research teams to identify and evaluate opportunities in semiconductors, satellite communications, and flat panel displays.

Mike Lippitz has a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, a Sc.B. in Electrical Engineering from Brown University, and a degree from The Taft School.
