Joshua Woodard has a strong background in agribusiness and finance. Joshua is currently the CEO of AcreValue, a platform that provides farmland data and valuations for farmers and land professionals. Prior to this, Joshua founded and served as the CEO of Ag-Analytics, where they offered customized data services to farmers and agribusinesses. Joshua also has academic experience, having worked as an Associate Professor at Cornell University and as an Assistant Professor at both Texas A&M University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In their academic roles, they focused on topics such as risk management and managerial economics. Joshua Woodard is known for their expertise in the ag-tech and agfin-tech startup space and has collaborated with numerous organizations and stakeholders in the agriculture industry.
Joshua Woodard obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics from Frostburg State University, which they attended from 2000 to 2003. Joshua then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agricultural & Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2003 to 2008.
