Alexander de Souza Carvalho Pennington

Alexander De Souza Carvalho Pennington is an accomplished analytical chemist with extensive experience in managing laboratory operations and providing technical leadership. Currently serving as the LC/LC-MS Group Lead at Juul Labs since September 2021, Alexander previously held the position of Technical Director at Enthalpy Analytical, where responsibilities included overseeing project completion, developing standard operating procedures, and training staff. A seasoned professional in method development, instrument calibration, and analytical testing, Alexander has worked across various roles in the analytical chemistry field, including as a Senior Scientist and Associate Scientist. With dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry from North Carolina State University, and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Alexander combines both academic excellence and practical expertise.
