Dr. Hengshuo Liu

Dr. Hengshuo Liu has extensive work experience in the field of lung transplantation, immunology, and molecular cell biology. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Masters Student at Uppsala University. Dr. Hengshuo then worked as a Project Student at the same university from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they were a PhD Candidate at the University of Bergen, where they conducted research on cancer microenvironment, molecular cell biology, and mechanical signal. During this time, they collaborated with MedImmune to develop novel antibodies for targeting newly discovered cancer markers. In 2015, they were a Visiting Researcher at MedImmune. From 2016 to 2018, they were self-employed as a consultant. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Senior Scientist at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they studied chronic lung rejection. Finally, they are currently a Technical Sales Specialist at ACROBiosystems.

Dr. Hengshuo Liu has an extensive educational background. Dr. Hengshuo obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Lanzhou University in 2007. Dr. Hengshuo then went on to earn their Master of Science in Biology from Uppsala University in 2010. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, cancer biology, matrix biology from the University of Bergen (UiB) in 2016. In addition to their degrees, Dr. Liu has obtained certifications in Biotech Quality Manger/Regulatory Affaire Manager, Industrial pharma management, GMP, and GCP.
