Nikos Zempilis

Electronics Engineer, research and development at Acromove

Nikos Zempilis has a diverse background in electronics engineering and has acquired extensive experience in various roles.

From 2018, they worked as an Electronics Engineer in research and development at Acromove Inc., where they were responsible for multiple layer PCB design, embedded programming using various Microchip ARM Cortex MCUs, and development of sensor applications.

Prior to that, Nikos was self-employed as an Electronics Engineer since 2012. During this time, they gained skills in multiple layer PCB design and embedded C programming for ARM and AVR. Nikos also undertook complete project design, encompassing both hardware and software components.

From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Intelligent Entertainment as an Escape Rooms Electronics Designer and Installer. In this role, they designed, manufactured, and installed electronic props for escape rooms. Nikos also collaborated on electrical wiring installation design and automation implementation.

Between 2014 and 2016, Nikos worked at Creta Technic - M. Koukakis SA as a Weighing and Automation Electronics Engineer.

Nikos also served as an Electronics Engineer Project Contractor at TEI of Crete Dept of Electrical Engineering from 2014 to 2015.

Additionally, from 2010, they worked at Security FO.R.S as an Alarm and CCTV Installer.

Nikos began their career in 2007 at POSEIDON Electronics S.A., where they worked as a Marine Electronics Technician and Installer. Nikos'sresponsibilities included PCB board repair on various equipment, VHF/UHF transceiver frequency programming, and installation of radars, sonars, GPS systems, and VHF/UHF base station transceivers.

Nikos Zempilis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the Dept. of Electronics at TEI of Crete in 2011.
