Chris Sheppard is currently the Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors. Previously, they were a Juris Doctor Candidate at the University of Washington School of Law where they negotiated and drafted vendor contracts, service agreements, and independent contractor work agreements. Chris also researched and analyzed how the recently passed Dodd-Frank Act impacts public companies. Chris is a co-founder of UrbanHarvest, an urban farming company whose mission is to grow the freshest, tastiest fruits and vegetables available anywhere. At UrbanHarvest, Chris won the 2012 University of Washington Business Plan Competition and was awarded best Clean Tech Idea at the 2012 UW Business Plan Competition. Chris was also awarded Honorable Mention at the 2012 University of Washington's Environmental Innovation Challenge competition.

Chris Sheppard started their educational career at the University of Washington where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. Chris then attended the University of Washington School of Law where they obtained their Juris Doctor. After working in law for a few years, they decided to further their education by obtaining a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Washington. Chris also obtained an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Finally, they obtained a Masters of Mass Communication in Journalism and Media Management from Arizona State University.

Chris Sheppard reports to Robert Hild, Chairman & CEO. They are on a team with Gary Gessel - Managing Director, Stephen Spencer - Managing Director, and Curt Jacey - Managing Director.
