Kimberly Laverty

Kimberly Laverty is a Specialist Domestic and Family Violence Practitioner at Act for Kids with experience in providing support to individuals and families from various backgrounds. As a former Regional RSPCA Inspector, Kimberly has expertise in animal welfare and cruelty prevention. Kimberly has also worked in roles focusing on trauma-informed care for youth in out-of-home care, suicide response services, foster care support, and housing coordination. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from James Cook University and a degree in Nursing from the University of Canberra.
