Sue Rice

Sue Rice is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in family support and mental health services. Currently serving as a Family Support Practitioner at Act for Kids since September 2020, Rice has held various significant positions, including Adjunct Research Fellow at Griffith University since January 2006 and Mental Health Clinician at Queensland Health from November 2017 to September 2020. As the Manager of Family and Community Support Services at Centacare: Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton from April 2007 to September 2020, Rice focused on strategic management and compliance for government contracts in Central Queensland. Additionally, Rice contributed to social work education as a Lecturer at CQUniversity Australia from May 2004 to May 2007. Rice earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Work from The University of Queensland between 2000 and 2004.
