Marcus Low

Marcus Low has over 13 years of work experience. Marcus began their career in 2008 as a Student Intern for the Social Security Administration. In 2013, they began doing Contract Work as a Freelance Front-End Web Developer and Freelance Electronics Prototyping. In 2016, they joined EagleView as a Cloud Engineering Lead and Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where they deployed and configured Datadog as the sole monitoring solution for the entire company and designed and implemented a monitoring replacement for Datadog that resulted in an 80% decrease in total spend. Marcus also developed a web application to CRUD a library of images hosted in S3, created tools to increase efficiency through automation, and served as technical lead for API integrations with third party clients. In 2021, they joined dutchie as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer II. Currently, they are a Lead Technical Account Manager at Astra, a position they have held since 2022.

Marcus Low obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Physics from the University of Washington in 2013. In 2019, they earned an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
