Kristy Van Putten is an experienced professional with a diverse background in information technology and data governance. Currently, Kristy serves as the Chief Information Officer and Executive Branch Manager at ACT Government, having previously held senior director roles in digital and data governance and as a directorate data officer. Prior experience includes roles at Geoscience Australia, where Kristy worked as a deputy risk and vulnerability manager, computational modeller for the Natural Hazard Impact Project, and GIS officer for the Petroleum and Marine Division. Additionally, Kristy contributed to AusAID as a spatial analyst and data manager for the Australia-Indonesia Facility for Disaster Reduction and managed operations as a Swim Center Shift Supervisor at Hawkesbury City Council. Kristy holds a Graduate Certificate in Management from Charles Sturt University and a Certificate in Graphic Design from Sessions College.
