Sruthi Shanmugam

Sruthi Shanmugam is a professional with a strong background in finance and social enterprise development. As the Manager for ACT for Environment at ACT Grants since September 2023, Sruthi leads initiatives focused on environmental sustainability. Prior to this role, Sruthi spent four years at Upaya Social Ventures in various capacities, including Associate, Senior Analyst, and Analyst, where responsibilities included assessing social enterprises for investment opportunities and providing technical assistance for their growth. Experience also includes a role as a Financial Analyst in Investment Banking at TresVista, where Sruthi engaged in fundraising and financial analysis, and an internship in the finance department at Orchid Pharma. Sruthi began the professional journey as a Crew Member at Comedy Wagon, handling event operations. Sruthi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Christ University, Bangalore, obtained in 2018.
