Dave Wennergren

Dave Wennergren has extensive work experience in the technology and government sectors. Dave currently serves as the CEO of the American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting from July 2017 to May 2019. Dave also held multiple positions at the Professional Services Council, including Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer from December 2015 to June 2017, and Senior Vice President, Technology from June 2014 to December 2015. Dave served as the VP of Enterprise Technologies and Services at CACI International Inc from September 2013 to June 2014. Earlier in their career, Dave worked at the United States Department of Defense, where they held the role of Assistant Deputy Chief Management Officer from November 2010 to August 2013, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and Deputy Chief Information Officer from November 2006 to November 2010. Dave also served as the Chief Information Officer at the Department of the Navy from December 2002 to October 2006.

Dave Wennergren attended Mansfield University of Pennsylvania from 1975 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations. Following that, they attended the University of Maryland from 1988 to 1989, earning a Master's in Public Administration with a focus on Financial Management.
