Dr. Keeper Layne Sharkey

Dr. Keeper Layne Sharkey is a prominent figure in the fields of quantum science and chemical physics, currently serving as the Founder and Director of ODE, L3C since December 2018. With extensive experience, Dr. Sharkey chairs the Quantum Cross Sector Council at the InfraGard National Members Alliance and is a co-founding member of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C). Additionally, Dr. Sharkey holds the position of Chair for IEEE P1947, focusing on cybersecurity in quantum computing, and participates in various initiatives, including the Quantum Knowledge Group at the American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council. An accomplished educator with a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Arizona, Dr. Sharkey has engaged in numerous academic roles and continues to contribute to advancements in quantum awareness through the founding of Quantum Awareness, Security, and Resilience.
